Suleiman said in a press interview that the hatred promoted by the ruling party in India against Muslims is a tool used to win the votes of extremist Hindus.

She said that the policy adopted by the ruling party in India is completely contrary to the Indian constitution.

Suleiman emphasized that violence against Muslims in India is linked to the spread of Islamophobia in the world and that hatred against Muslims leads to the emergence of terrorist acts in the name of the Islamic religion. 

She made clear that racist parties in various countries gain votes by spreading hatred against Muslims and this is what is happening in India.

Prime Minister Naranda Modi and his party that promotes the advantage of Hindus seeks to win the votes of Hindus through propaganda against Muslims.

About the Indian public opinion in Indonesia, she said: The Indonesian people reject India’s sectarian policy in dealing with its people, and members of some parties in Indonesia gathered in front of the Indian embassy to express their rejection of what is happening in India.
