Mufti of Uzbekistan: 3000 Uzbeks joined the terrorists in Syria and Iraq

The Mufti of the Republic of Uzbekistan Osman Khan Aleimov said that about three thousand Uzbeks have joined the ranks of terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq.

 

 

The Mufti of the Republic of Uzbekistan Osman Khan Aleimov said that about three thousand Uzbeks have joined the ranks of terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq.

“According to our data, there are about three thousand Uzbek citizens in the area of armed conflict in the Middle East and we have to send them back to our country,” he was quoted as saying in the Uzbek media.

He pointed out to the transfer of 156 Uzbek terrorists from the Hol camp in Syria on the 30th of last May by a private plane to Uzbekistan, adding that the operations of the return of the remaining terrorists will continue.
