‘Jesus in Quran’ to be discussed in Connecticut Church

Jesus, peace be upon him, in the Quran will be the subject of first congregational talk in Ridgefield, US state of Connecticut.

Bajwa, director of Muslim life at Yale, will give a talk on Jesus’s role in the Quran, at the First Congregational Church, on Sunday, Jan. 21, at 8:30 a.m. in the church Commons.  

His talk will include the Quranic narrative of the life of Jesus, who is a revered prophet in Islam, and the role of Jesus and his mother, Mary, in Islamic theology and Muslim culture.
