New mosque opens in Pocatello

A new mosque opened its doors in Pocatello of Idaho state in the United States.

 

The new mosque has the capacity to hold about 200 worshipers at a time, and won’t just be used for prayer.

The mosque will be a place for celebrations of Ramadan, and be available to the entire community, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

The project has been in the works for over five years, and has been a long time coming for the Muslim community in Pocatello.

It is to mention that this is the only mosque in Eastern Idaho.  The next closest mosque is in Logan, Utah, a two hour drive.
