A British Muslim woman having dinner at a London fish and chip restaurantwas told she “shouldn’t be here” and had her hijab grabbed at, an anti-racism organization said.

The victim was reportedly eating with friends when she was attacked by a fellow diner who also accused her of “killing people”.

The perpetrator then grabbed her by the coat and attempted to drag her outside, saying he “wasn’t going to tolerate it” before other customers at the restaurant and the victim’s friends intervened, said the witnesses.

The group has organized a protest vigil in Lyric Square, Hammersmith to denounce the acts of racism.
