The call for the unconditional release of the Shia leader in Nigeria, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky continues with protest marches and rallies worldwide.

In Kano, a rally was held after Friday prayers along France road, one of the major commercial streets in Kano central business district.

Malam AbdulKadir Koki with followers of Shaikh Zakzaky carried various placards calling for the unconditional release of the Shaikh.

Shaikh Zakzaky has been held by the Nigerian government after the Zaria massacre last December with no justified reason and with his health condition deteriorating without proper medical care.
