Following a nationwide program, the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (AFIMN), has staged a peaceful rally in Kaduna calling for the release of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

Addressing newsmen at the rally, protesters described the continued arrest of the leader of the movement as illegal and a violation of his fundamental human rights. The rally took place at the Leventis Roundabout in Kaduna metropolis where students from various institutions, who are also members of the movement raised posters with pictures of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and the inscription “Free Zakzaky”.
