“Constructing the Middle East: Informational, Ideological and Cultural” Conference to be held in Ankara

A conference titled “Constructing the Middle East: Informational, Ideological and Cultural” will is to be held on the 22nd of October in the University of Ankara, Turkey.

In honor of its anniversary, the College of Communication is organizing the two-day international conference. The conference also seeks to discuss the issues that the mainstream media deliberately avoids to cover either by diminishing their significance or remaining silent.

Juan Cole, Shia Professor in History at the University of Michigan, will deliver a speech in the conference’s opening ceremony.
