Mosques in Germany support refugees

The association has stressed that the country’s mosques and prayer halls welcome

An Islamic association in Germany said every mosque in the country should meet the needs of at least one refugee family.

The association has stressed that the country’s mosques and prayer halls welcome foreign refugees and help them find accommodation and jobs.

Hundreds of plans are underway in Germany for helping the refugee families and it is a wrong accusation that Muslims don’t support refugees, it said.

Some of the prayer rooms in the associations also host the refugees at nights and provide them with Quran copies, praying rugs and Halal foods.

In recent weeks, thousands of asylum seekers have arrived in Germany from Middle East nations through Turkey, Greece, the Balkans, Hungary as well as Austria.
