Muslim nominated to be Oslo mayor

A Muslim environmentalist is strongly suggested as the upcoming Oslo mayor

A Muslim environmentalist is strongly suggested as the upcoming Oslo mayor, after his Green Party became kingmaker in Norway local elections.
The nomination of Shoaib Sultan followed the victory Green Party achieved after winning five seats in Oslo city council in Monday’s election.
Being a practicing Muslim, Sultan does not see his religion as a barrier to Oslo’s top position.
Norway’s Muslim population, which has been growing steadily, is 150,000 to 200,000 out of the country’s 5.2 million population.
