A competition on memorization of the Holy Quran was held by the Office for Quranic Affairs in South Africa.

According to reports, the competition was organized in cooperation with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization.

Forty-three Quran activists competed in memorization of the entire Quran, 15 parts and 5 parts of the Quran.

Winners were awarded in a ceremony at “Al-Fath” Mosque in Cape Town city of South Africa.

 The importance of such Quranic competitions, the virtues of Quran memorization and its positive effects on Quran memorizers and the Muslim society of South Africa were highlighted in the ceremony.
