Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide

 

Muslims all over the world have celebrated Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a number of other Muslim countries, including Iraq, Oman, Iran, Morocco, Brunei, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Ghana, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Saturday marks the Eid.

Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide.

The auspicious holiday commonly begins with communal prayers at major mosques or other prayer sites after a predetermined amount of money is set aside as alms.
Also on Eid al-Fitr, Muslims are encouraged to be especially generous and forget any grudges against friends and relatives.
