Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Saeed al-Hakim calls for Popular Mobilization Forces to adhere to the path of Ahlul Bayt in war against ISIS

Religious Authorities based in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf met with Ahmad al-Asadi

 

Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad-Saed al-Hakim, one of the top Religious Authorities based in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, met with Ahmad al-Asadi, the spokesman for the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.
Ayatollah al-Hakim stressed the need for the Popular Mobilization Forces to abide the Islamic law and teachings, adding that the volunteer fighters must liberate the areas held by ISIS terrorists according to the tradition and method of the Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them.
His Eminence emphasized that the fighters should adhere to the moral principles and to always listen closely to the commands issued by the Religious Authorities.
Ayatollah al-Hakim prayed for the forgiveness of the martyrs and warriors and also for the warriors’ return to their families and for their ultimate victory over the Takfiri terrorists.
