As this year’s Hajj season begins, the International Shia Rights Watch Organization issued a series of recommendations to the pilgrims.

In a statement, it said that in order to prevent accidents and harm to the Shia pilgrims, the organization presents three new recommendations for the pilgrims of the House of Allah, in addition to the usual recommendations known annually. These recommendations were provided in pictures and educational videos for the pilgrims.

The statement called on the pilgrims to obtain important information such as emergency call numbers, as well as the identification card, and to carry a copy of the passport or have a picture of it on your phone.

The statement added that the pilgrims should be aware of and know the laws of the host country, Saudi Arabia, pointing out that in the event of loss of identity or identification card or subjected to inacceptable treatment they must immediately contact their country’s embassy. The organization also called for registration in the program (smart traveler enrollment program) to see the latest security conditions and important updates.

The statement concluded by inviting pilgrims to update their families about their safety, health and place of residence through social networking sites and the safekeeping of their belongings and valuables, especially in crowded places.
