With heavy hearts, the Shirazi Family escorted late Allamah Sayed Mohammad Jawad Shirazi to his final resting place. The mourning procession headed towards the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Holy Najaf to perform the rites of visitation and to hold a mourning session with the attendance of Ahlul-bayt lovers from various walks of life. The mourning procession then travelled to the holy city of Karbala to perform the visitation and to bury the late Allamah nearby the Imam Hussein Holy shrine. Mourners expressed their sorrow for the demise of the Late Allamah, saying that Hawza community lost a prominent Shia figure known for his love to the doctrine of Ahlul-Bait, peace be upon them, and his yearning to spread their sciences.
