Pilgrims, headed by a delegation of the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Shirazi’s office, began their march towards the holy city of Samarra to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari, peace be upon him.

Director of Public Relations of the Karbala office of Ayatollah Shirazi, Sayed ArefNasrullah, said Husseini processions have begun serving pilgrims flocking to the holy city.

Preparations for the pilgrims have completed to receive millions of pilgrims pouring into Askariyain holy shrine to mark the grief occasion amidst stabilized security situation.
