Sayed Afdhal al-Shami, Deputy Secretary General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, said that the red banner of the dome of the holy shrine will be replaced with a black one on Wednesday evening in a special ceremony.

He added the banner replacement ceremony will witness the participation of thousands of lovers of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, along with the participation of Shia fighters of the Popular Mobilization Units.

It is worth to mention that IHTV channels will broadcast the event live.
