Nonviolence Inc. Urges UAE to Adhere to Humane and Islamic Principles

In a bid to internalize democracy and human rights in Muslim and Arab countries, the Nonviolence Incorporation released a statement in which it asked the UAE government to reconsider its policies with respect to the arrest of a human rights activist, Ahmed Mansoor, who was charged to ten years in prison for his political activities.

Further, this human rights organization criticized the UAE government for its unjustified and illegal involvement in the Yemen crisis. In some parts of the statement by Nonviolence Incorporation we read: “For the UAE to be considered as a progressive country in the Arab and Muslim world, the leaders of this country must reconsider their policies and avoid hazardous repercussions of their interference in other countries. Also, the UAE government should stop any kind of discrimination agaisnt their own citizens and the immigrants in this country.”
