People in Istanbul, Turkey, held a rally in front of the Saudi consulate in the city, to condemn the crimes committed by the Riyadh regime and its allies in Yemen.

According to al-Nushra website, a large number of people took part in the demonstration on Sunday.

They carried placards protesting the war in Yemen and calling for an end to the coalition’s atrocities there.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and a number of its allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 15,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.

Much of Yemen’s infrastructure has also been destroyed in the Saudi-led war.
