Women receive permissions to recite Quran in Saudi Arabia

The women’s section of Khayrukum Quranic Society in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, granted permission for recitation of the Quran to 15 women.

 

 

The women’s section of Khayrukum Quranic Society in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, granted permission for recitation of the Quran to 15 women.

According to Arab al-Yawm website, some 150 women have attended Quranic courses held by the society.

After completing the courses, they are required to take an examination to receive permissions for recitation.

In the past few days, 15 of them have managed to pass the examination and receive the permission.

The society holds the exam online or via telephone for those who are unable to take it at the society’s headquarters.
