Bahraini authorities have arrested a number of Bahrainis including women and children in a crackdown on anti-regime protests.

Bahraini authorities have arrested a number of Bahrainis including women and children in a crackdown on anti-regime protests.

The regime forces also attacked a group of worshipers in one of the Shia mosques .

Since mid-February 2011, thousands of pro-democracy protesters have staged numerous demonstrations in the streets of Bahrain, calling for the Al Khalifa royal family to relinquish power. 

 

According to local sources, scores of people have been killed and hundreds arrested.
