Religious leaders from various sects and religions hold a commemoration ceremony on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Kadhim in Baghdad

 The National Council of Religions organized a solidarity rally on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Kadhim, peace be upon him, in which clerics from different sects and religions took part.

In an interview with Shiawaves, Nael al-Mousawi said that the Imams, peace be upon them, represent God’s creation for all humanity. 

He also pointed out that this stand came to confirm to the world that Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, are for all religions and sects, where clerics from different sects and religions gathered under the banner of Imam Kadhim, peace be upon him, to emphasize that the Imam is for all and not limited to a particular doctrine.

In the same context, the head of the Sabean Mandaean community, Sheikh Satarr Jabbar, pointed out that this stand included Shias and Sunni Muslim clerics as well as Christians and Mandaeans in solidarity with Muslims in the martyrdom of Imam Kadhim, peace be upon him, stressing that “on this occasion we should evoke their virtues and and to be on the same path of theirs’ , condoling the Islamic nation on this painful anniversary.
