Al-Rafidain operations announce Arbaeen pilgrimage security plan

 Al-Rafidain operations command center announced its security plan to secure the pilgrimage of Arbaeen in the provinces of Dhi Qar, Muthanna, Maysan and Wasit, which will be implemented with the participation of more than 55 thousand members of the security forces in those provinces.

The commander of al-Rafidain operations, Ali Ibrahim, said in a joint press conference with police leaders in the four provinces that “the security plan will be launched by pre-emptive operations in the operations sections, specifically in the desirts of Dhi Qar and Muthanna, as well as attacking sleeping terror cells in the rest of the cities of the province, adding that the security forces will work as well to take urgent measures to confront and thwart terrorist threats before they are implemented, through ambushes, day and night patrols, and intensifying inspection procedures.

He pointed out that Air Forces will contribute to the security plan through round-the-clock reconnaissance flights from the Imam Ali Air Base, adding that the Operations Command also coordinated with the railway protection forces to secure the transfer of visitors from the southern provinces from and to the holy city of Karbala.
