Syrian army makes new advances against Daesh in Dayr al-Zawr

Syrian forces have made fresh territorial gains against Daesh Takfiri terrorists in the country’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr.

 

Syrian forces have made fresh territorial gains against Daesh Takfiri terrorists in the country’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr.

Syria’s official news agency, SANA, reported on Saturday that Syrian troops had established full control over the village of Ma’adan Atiq. Scores of extremists were killed or injured during the operation.

Syrian army units and their allied forces also reclaimed Mazloum village in addition to several strategic sites in the town of Khasham. A number of Daesh terrorists were killed or injured in the counter-terrorism offensives.

Government troops also engaged Daesh terrorists in Huwaijah Saker region, inflicting heavy losses upon their ranks and military hardware.
