Adam Center denounces the Bahraini authorities’ killing of civilians

Adam Center for Defending Rights and Freedom condemned the Bahraini authorities for committing a brutal massacre against civilians in Deraz area, which resulted in the death of six civilians and injury of dozens, in addition to the detainees, on sectarian motives pursued by the authorities.

The Organization said in a statement, “The authorities in Bahrain are committed to perpetrating crimes against civilians in the Shia community that go beyond all human and moral perceptions and violate all international laws that grant the right to freedom of expression and preserve human dignity.” 

The statement pointed to the extent of the violations caused by the recent attack in Bahrain, saying, “The unjustified attack on the house of the Shia cleric Sheikh Issa Qasim was unprecedented in the history of Bahrain.”
