Kuwait sentences Shiite MP for forty one year insulting Saudi, Bahrain

Kuwaiti court on Wednesday sentenced a Shiite lawmaker to 10 years for remarks denouncing the crimes committed against Shiite people in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

 

Kuwaiti court on Wednesday sentenced a Shiite lawmaker to 10 years for remarks denouncing the crimes committed against Shiite people in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

According to Arab media agencies, the imprisonment sentence came after an acquittal sentence by the Kuwaiti High Court.

In addition to the resent period of sentence, the total imprisonment period will be 41 years and 6 months.

It is worth mentioning that the Kuwaiti High Court have sentenced the Shiite MP to 31 year and 6 months for denouncing the discrimination against Shiites in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
