Ninth of RabiulAwal, a day of rejoice for the pure Ahl al-Bayt

The Ninth of RabiulAwal is a day of pleasure and happiness for theAhl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, especially, Lady Fatima, peace be upon her.

 

 

The Ninth of RabiulAwal is a day of pleasure and happiness for theAhl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, especially, Lady Fatima, peace be upon her.

Narrations from Imam Ali, peace be upon him, say that the Ninth of RabiulAwal has many names including The Grand Eid of Allah the Almighty, The Day of Keeping Promises, The Day of the Hypocrite’s Killing, and The Day of Eliminating theFitna.

Shia Muslims celebrate this day and congratulate each other, as well as condemn the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt  as mentioned in the narrations of the Holy Prophet’s progeny, peace be upon them.

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, has issued a statement of the day stating that the Ninth of RabiulAwal is the second Eid al-Ghadir, and that the two holy days are fundamental in the Islamic jurisprudence .
