Periodic Gathering of Scholars held in holy Karbala

Following the commandments of the Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, the Periodic Gathering of Scholars was held at the Fourteen Infallibles  Institution in the holy city of Karbala on Muharram 26 1438 AH.

 

 

Following the commandments of the Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, the Periodic Gathering of Scholars was held at the Fourteen Infallibles  Institution in the holy city of Karbala on Muharram 26 1438 AH.

The gathering was held in the presence of a number of scholars, top clerics’ representatives, and orators, as well as religious institutions chairmen.

The event began with the recitation of Quranic verses by the reciter, Sheikh Zuhair al-Asadi, followed by Sheikh Nassir al-Asadi’s opening speech inspired by the holy Quranic verse: “Invite to the way of your God with wisdom and good instruction”, stressing on the importance of doubling the efforts in order to achieve higher goals, and raising the levels of the institutions and its staffs.

A number of scholars delivered speeches at the event, touching upon the subjects of preparing for Arbaeen and to use Ayatollah Shirazi’s commandments as slogans during the massive pilgrimage
