18 ISIS militants killed by Syrian Army in east Hama

The Syrian Arab Army’s 66th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division carried out a successful raid in the east Hama countryside on Saturday, targeting the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS) defensive positions in the village of Musaab.

 

 

The Syrian Arab Army’s 66th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division carried out a successful raid in the east Hama countryside on Saturday, targeting the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS) defensive positions in the village of Musaab.

According to a member of the Syrian Armed Forces in the city of Salamiyah, the 66th Brigade killed a confirmed 18 ISIS militants before clearing the main road that leads to this village.

In addition to their attack on ISIS’ positions in east Hama, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) also beat back an assault that was launched by the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jund Al-Aqsa” on Saturday night.

The source in Al-Salamiyah added that eight bodies from Jund Al-Aqsa were recovered from the hilltops near the village of Ma’an in northern Hama.
