Shia Rights Watch criticizes Saudi government for refusing to hand over martyr Nimr’s corpse to his family

Saudi regime has refused to give the corpse of Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr to his family

 

Shia Rights Watch said that Saudi regime has refused to give the corpse of Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr to his family, considering this as a clear violation of human and religious rights.

SRW said in a statement that after the global shock of the execution of Sheikh Nimr, Saudi Arabia didn’t respond to rights groups that call on respecting the rights of martyr Sheikh al-Nimr by handing over his corpse to his relatives.

SRW pleads for international rights groups to put pressure on Saudi regime to giveup his corpse as soon as possible.
