At least 259 Shia Muslims were martyred by Takfiri terrorists in Pakistan during the year 2015 in acts of Shia genocide, while the number of martyrs was 311 in the previous year.

Five major terrorist attacks took place in 2015, in which many people were martyred whereas target killing persisted in Quetta, while a major attack took place in Shikarpur where 73 worshipers were martyred during Friday prayer blast.
