4000 troops deployed to secure Najaf borders from IS infiltration

Head of the security committee in the holy city of Najaf, Khaled al-Jashaami said that around 4000 fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces have been deployed on the bordering areas with Anbar Province to prevent IS infiltration

 

Head of the security committee in the holy city of Najaf, Khaled al-Jashaami said that around 4000 fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces have been deployed on the bordering areas with Anbar Province to prevent IS infiltration.

He added that a security plan have been set in coordination with Middle Euphrates Command to protect the holy city from IS terrorists who suffer heavy losses in Anbar due to the ongoing military operations there.
