18 martyred in car bombs in Baghdad Shia neighborhoods

At least 18 martyred and more than 50 others injured in car bombs explosions in two crowded areas of the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Friday. 

 

 Security and medical officials said at least 13 people were martyred when a car bomb hit Baladiyat neighborhood in eastern Baghdad.

A second car bomb struck Karrada district left at least 5 more dead.

The bombings also wounded more than 50 people.

Bombings in and around Baghdad killed at least 26 people Thursday, mainly in Shia neighborhoods, while a suicide car bomb on Tuesday killed 28 people, among them an MP who was also a senior Shia lawmaker.
