Imam Hussein holy shrine to hold short film festival for the youth

The General-Secretariat of the Imam Hussein holy shrine announces holding 1st festival of short films for the youth 

The General-Secretariat of the Imam Hussein holy shrine has announced holding its 1st festival of short films for the youth.

A member of the preparatory committee said that the festival is for two age groups, the young youth group which includes the ages from 15 – 18, and the second group for the ages from 19-22.

He pointed out that among the themes of the festival are: the prayer, the call for Jihad, visitation of holy shrines, friendship, environment, the martyrdom for the sake of the country, etc.

He said that the duration of each film must be 3-5 minutes for the young youth group and 6-10 minutes for the youth group, pointing out that they received some films from Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Iran.

It is to mention that the festival aims to develop the skills of the youth in filming and enhance their creative vision.
