New look of the Husseini Camp “Al-Mukhayam”

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has unveiled the new renovation project of the Husseini Camp, or the Mukhayam. 

 

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has unveiled the new renovation project of the Husseini Camp, or the Mukhayam. 

The holy grilles of the camps of Imam Hussein, al-Abbas, Zain al-Abideen and Sayeda Zainab, peace be upon them, have been regilded and renovated.

The Mukhayam marks the location of the camp of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, where his family and companions stayed during the Battle of Karbala. 

It is located southwest of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
