Brazilian envoy visits Imam Ali Holy Shrine

The Brazilian ambassador to Iraq paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Najaf. 

 

The Brazilian ambassador to Iraq paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Najaf. 

Miguel Junior Franca Chaves de Magalhaes is the first envoy of a Latin American country to visit the holy shrine, according to officials. 

 The ambassador, along with a number of the holy shrine’s officials, toured different parts of the mausoleum. 

 Magalhaes expressed wonder at the historical building of the shrine and the development projects underway at the mausoleum.
