The Holy Shrine of Imam Ali decorated with more than 14,000 natural flowers on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir

The holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Najaf, Iraq, was decorated with 14,000 natural flowers on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.

 

The director of Service Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine said that the holy shrine received 14,000 natural flowers from Iranian donors, resembling the number of the infallible Imams, peace be upon them.

He added that the flowers, which are of best quality, are used to decorate different parts of the holy shrine.

Eid al-Qadir, which falls on Monday, October 13, this year, is celebrated by many Muslims around the world and many Shia Muslims go on pilgrimage to the holy city of Najaf to celebrate the occasion.
