Thousands unite in Karbala to perform Eid prayer

As we have reached the end of the holy month of Ramadan, all Muslims around the world are celebrating this great event and are performing the special prayer associated with it.

 

 

As we have reached the end of the holy month of Ramadan, all Muslims around the world are celebrating this great event and are performing the special prayer associated with it.

In Karbala, hundreds of thousands have come together to the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother al-Abbas, peace be upon them, to perform the Eid Prayer and to give the mandatory zakat for the wonderful and joyous occasion.  

According to local sources, more than 15 thousand security personnel are participating in securing and providing the necessary services to facilitate the flow of pilgrims and protect them from any dangerous threats. 

It’s noteworthy that today is a great example of peaceful coexistence as we see the entire world from various ethnicities unite and celebrate all together.
